Agro-industrial clusters created in Uzbekistan's Namangan

Agricultural clusters have been created in the Mingbulak and Pap districts of the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, by attracting foreign direct investment, funds from international financial institutions, credit lines of foreign and commercial banks, Trend reports citing the Government decree published on the website of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

Based on the decree, the activities of LLC "Art Soft Holding", which includes 19 agricultural enterprises, have been established.

In particular, 30.9 hectares in Mingbulak district (including 27.1 hectares of sown area) and 31.5 hectares of land (of which - 24.7 hectares of sown area) in the Pap district were leased to the “Art soft tex cluster” farm, which is part of the LLC, for up to 50 years, but not less than 30 years.

According to the decree, the main task of the agro-industrial cluster is to increase soil fertility, rational and efficient use of cultivated land and the implementation of measures to protect them.

The resolution approved the forecast parameters of investment projects for 2019-2010, carried out by "Art Soft Holding" and agricultural enterprises included in it.
