The Azerbaijani construction company AzVirt by the end of September will complete the mobilization work as part of a project to reconstruct a highway in Serbia, a source in the company told Trend.
The company will begin excavation work in early October, and will complete it within the next 1.5-2 months.
“According to our estimates, the reconstruction work will begin around the second half of December,” the source noted. “In general, the project involves construction of roads and the related road infrastructure in Serbia. The project costs 207 million euros and is financed by one of the biggest Chinese banks. In addition to AzVirt, Chinese specialists are participating in the project.”
The company has implemented the previous project with partners in Serbia and plans to cooperate with partners in Azerbaijan within the new road project, the source added.
AzVirt company is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, airports.
Besides the construction and design of roads and big facilities, the company also produces building materials, including asphalt mixtures, fractional gravel, activated mineral powder.
