NAALE of China to create plant in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar

Head of Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov and the leadership of Chinese company NAALE have signed a framework agreement for construction of a sugar plant in the region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of regional akimat (administrative center).

The signing took place during the fourth meeting of Kazakh-Chinese Business Council in Beijing.

“The investor is planning to construct the plant the capacity of which will be no less that 110,000 tons of sugar a year. Authorities of the region are to work on the issues of engineering and communication infrastructure necessary for the construction,” the report said.

Furthermore, the investor can rely on all available means of state support in area of beneficial taxation and investments subsidizing. Over the course of the year after signing of the agreement, the leadership of NAALE is planning to establish an office in Pavlodar to start development of the project. The construction is planned for 2020-2022.

Another agreement on cooperation has been signed with the government of Fuqing city of China's Fujian province.

According to the agreement, the parties will participate in constriction of Kazakh-Chinese International Agro-Industrial Park within the framework of cooperation within Belt and Road Initiative.
