During first seven months of 2019, the prices of imported goods increased by 4.9 percent and of exported goods by 3.1 percent in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the data of Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the prices of export decreased by 1.2 percent in July 2019 compared to June 2019 and increased by 7.1 percent compared to August 2018. The prices of import increased by 0.8 percent during reporting month compared to June 2019 and by 9.7 percent compared to July 2018.
During first seven months of 2019, the export prices decreased by 11.6 percent on ferroalloys, by 1.7 percent on copper, by 1.2 percent on zinc and by 0.4 percent on lead.
The increase of pricing was observed on export of iron ores by 39.4 percent, of coal by 18.3 percent, of Portland cement by 8.2 percent, and of oil by 6.1 percent.
The decrease of export pricing is also observed on cotton by 3.9 percent, of cereals by 1.2 percent, whereas the increase is observed on wheat by 18.2 percent, on flour by 14.9 percent, on rice by 6.4 percent, on wool by 1.7 percent.
Out of imported goods, the increase of pricing is observed on vegetables (by 41.3 percent), on confectionary (by 11.1 percent), on sausages (by 9.6 percent), on fish (by eight percent), on milk products (by 7.4 percent), on tobacco (by 6.5 percent), on coffee (by 4.7 percent), on poultry meat (by 4.4 percent), on tea (by 3.8 percent), on margarine (by 3.4 percent), on vegetable oil (by 3.1 percent).
In turn, prices on imported fruit and nut decreased by 7.1 percent, on cocoa by 4.8 percent, on sugar by 2.7 percent.
The pricing on imported pharmaceuticals increased by 10.2 percent, on plastic by 8.2 percent, on wood by 7.8 percent, on paper by 7.4 percent, on construction materials by six percent, on textile materials by 4.5 percent.
