Iran ready to commission 160-megawatt thermal power station in Kerman Province

The 1st phase of the 160-megawatt thermal power station located in Sirjan County of Iran’s Kerman Province is ready for commissioning, said CEO of Iran's Gol-E Gohar Mining & Industrial Company Jamshed Mollarahman, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

According to him, the station was built by Gohar Energy Company, a subsidiary of Gol-E Gohar Mining & Industrial Company, with an investment of $152 million.

More than 630 people will be employed with the commissioning of the station’s first phase, Mollarahman added.

The thermal power station will be put into operations with the participation of Iranian officials. A precise date for the station's commissioning has not been given.
