Turkmen Joint-stock Commercial Bank Rysgal is expanding the list of services, and the process of introducing the MasterCard international payment system has entered the final stage, Trend reported citing Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The implementation of this project is a part of the bank’s development strategy on increasing its financial stability and competitiveness among domestic and foreign credit organizations, the report said. Transactions with MasterCard payment cards have long been practiced in the country by other banks.
The peculiarity of the system to be launched in the bank Rysgal is that with its help, the technology of contactless payment is introduced for the first time in Turkmenistan. For each user, depending on his or her income and goals, own format has been developed. In particular, MasterCard Maestro is a manat plastic card on which the salaries of its owners in national currency are proposed to be credited.
This card will enable contactless payments with a set limit of 50 manats. The launch of a series of MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold and MasterCard Platinum cards is also provided.
Priority service, discounts and special offers around the world, access to business lounges of airports, unlimited use of wireless internet and much more await the future business customers of the bank. Following the results of all stages of implementation, all types of MasterCard plastic cards will support the internet banking service.
