Kazakhstan's only lowcoster transports over 360,000 passengers

Kazakh lowcoster FlyArystan has sold 500,000 tickets since the start of operational activities, a representative of the company told Trend.

In turn, according to the representative, the number of transported passengers amounted to over 360,000 people.

“The passenger load factor of planes amounts to over 94 percent currently. The airline timeliness is 93 percent. Flights are implemented daily, and two times a day on the route Almaty-Nur-Sultan,” the official said.

A representative of the company reminded, that last week the air fleet of the company has been replenished by another, third Airbus A320.

“Thus, the company is now implementing flights from Taraz, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Semey to Nur-Sultan and back. Semey is a new route for the company. The third plane will be implementing eight flights a day,” the official said.

The representative further added that the company is planning to acquire fourth Airbus A320 before the end of 2019, and by the end of 2020 the air fleet of the company will include 10 planes of the same model.

The air company is also planning on establishing bases in regional cities of Kazakhstan.

“Thus, starting from 2020, the company will be implementing flights not only from Nur-Sultan and Almaty but also from Karaganda and Aktobe cities,” the official concluded.

FlyArystan is the first and only low-cost air company of Kazakhstan. The company started selling tickets online in March 2019.
