Uzbek Commodity Exchange publishes prices in various product segments

According to the results of exchange trading on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, 2019, different price dynamics were observed in various commodity segments of the exchange market, Trend reports citing UZEX.

For the period under review, 3,149 tons of RON -91 motor gasoline were put up for exchange trading at UZEX JSC, of ​​which 2,866 tons of gasoline were sold. The stock quote for RON -91 gasoline decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous week and amounted to $677 per ton.

Last week, liquefied gas producers sold 5,455 tons of liquefied natural gas for a total of $ 1.59 million. The exchange price of gas decreased by 9 percent and amounted to $293 per ton.

In the black metal market, prices rose again. In particular, the price of ST 12-35 GS (measure length) fittings increased by 14.4 percent and amounted to $607 per ton. The total sales of all types of ferrous metal amounted to 4,400 tons.

The price of gold decreased slightly, the stock quote for the previous week amounted to $48 per 1 gram of gold. According to the results of weekly trading at the UZEX, only 100 grams of Au-1 grade gold were sold in the amount of $48,000.

The cement market is showing an increase in price. The weekly quotation for cement grade PC M-400 D-20 was fixed at $54 per ton, which is 4.4 percent more than a week earlier. The price range of other running brands of cement is $44- $68 per ton.

There is still a high demand for cotton fiber on the stock exchange, while the price has not changed much. The quotation for cotton fiber of the 1st grade of type 4 (middle class) last week amounted to $1370 per ton. The price of other fiber varieties varied on average from $743 to $1444 per ton.

The exchange price for F-0120 brand of polyethylene increased and amounted to $1,370 per ton last week, up 2.2 percent. The total sales volume of polyethylene on the exchange amounted to 1,400 tons.

The price of urea has fallen; the stock price for urea was $187 per ton, with a decrease of 2.5 percent. In general, over a week, 14,500 tons of mineral fertilizers were sold through exchange trading.
