As follows from the decree of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, an agency is being created under the Ministry of Water Resources to implement specialized projects in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Ministry.
The new structure will be responsible for the formation and preparation of projects to improve the water management system.
To implement projects, the agency will attract foreign investments, funds from international financial institutions and foreign government financial organizations.
The agency will be maintained at the expense of the state budget and the water development fund under the ministry.
