Housing transactions up by nearly 70% in Kazakhstan's Kyzylorda

Housing sales and purchaes in Kazakhstan amounted to 234,218 transactions during the first nine months of 2019, which is 22.5 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the data of Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Thus, the number of transactions in September equaled 29,279 transactions, which also is 0.4 percent more than during September of last year.

Most activity fell upon Almaty city - transactions here amounted to 4,298 cases, which is three percent less than last month and 6.7 percent more than during the reporting month of 2018.

Almaty city is followed by Nur-Sultan city and Karaganda region. Number of transactions here equaled 3,694 cases (annual growth of 8.7 percent) and 3,083 cases (annual growth of 31.8 percent) respectively.

In turn, the least number of purchase and sale transactions has been observed in Atyrau region of the country (631 transactions, annual growth of 20.2 percent).

Furthermore, the largest annual increase of the transactions was observed in Kyzylorda region. The number of transactions here amounted to 726 cases, which is 69.6 percent more than during the same month of last year.

However, the largest annual decrease in the number purchase and sale transactions was observed in Mangystau region of Kazakhstan. The number of transactions here amounted to 1,111 cases, which is 15.8 percent less than during the same period of last year.
