From January to September 2019, several plants from Azerbaijan’s Sumgait Technologies Park sold products totalling more than 65 million manat, Rashad Aliyev, PR manager of the Sumgait Technologies Park, told Trend.
"At the same time, the biggest volume of the sold products accounted for the cable production plant of the Sumgait Technologies Park,” the PR manager said.
“This plant sold products worth 29.950 million manat,” Aliyev said. “The plant for the production of fittings sold the products worth 11.8 million manat during the reporting period. The plant producing polymer products sold goods worth seven million manat. The plant for production and repair of cars sold goods worth 4.650 million manat. The plant producing sandwich panels sold goods worth 2.374 million manat. The plant producing electric equipment sold goods worth 1.600 million manat."
“A small part of the total volume of the sold products accounted for the remaining residents of the Sumgait Technologies Park,” he said.
The PR manager stressed that the industrial goods are expected to be exported from Azerbaijan to neighboring countries, in particular, to Russia and Georgia, till the end of this year.
Sumgait Technologies Park is a complex of big plants specializing in various fields of production.
