Food production increases in Azerbaijan

The total value of food production in Azerbaijan reached 2.535 billion manat ($1.494 billion) from January through September 2019, which is 15.1 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The production of beverages increased by 40.4 percent up to 344.498 million manat ($203.064 million), while the production of tobacco products - by 78.5 percent to 111.206 million manat ($65.550 million) from January through September 2019.
