Azerbaijan’s alcohol plant eyes to launch new production line

Jalilabad-2, the biggest Azerbaijani plant for the production of alcoholic beverages, will launch a new production line in the near future, a source at the plant told Trend.

This includes production of new brands of cognac, according to the source.

“The new line is under development, and we plan to launch it closer to the end of this year,” the source added. “This step has been taken to increase the production volumes of the plant. We also plan to increase the volume of cognac products with maturation period of 5-12 years, which is stored in special oak barrels at the warehouses of the plant.”

“This year we already had deliveries to Russia, and the next supplies are expected by the end of the year,” the source said. “In addition, we supply our products to China and Poland. It is planned to increase the supply volumes several times next year through the opening of new production lines.”

The plant produces five types of cognac.

The plant’s products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The company has Italian and Bulgarian equipment.
