Participating companies will be exempt from paying taxes at the stock exchange in Iran, Iran's Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Farhad Dejpasand told reporters in Iran.

“In this regard, the government must approve the tax rules for property valuation,” Dejpasand added, Trend reports referring to IRIB.

The minister added that after the rules are approved, the companies’ property on the stock exchange will be assessed.

"If the companies are exempt from paying taxes, the situation will revive on the stock exchange," Dejpasand said.

The Iranian minister noted that the stock exchange operates according to the conditions including purchase, sale and risks. In his words, currently there are not any big problems in the stock exchange.

Stagnation has been recently observed on the Iranian stock exchange.
