Mitsubishi may introduce advanced technology in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector

Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation’s delegation visited Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to the participation of the Japanese holding in the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan, in particular in the field of electric power, chemical and gas-chemical industries.

It was noted that the introduction of the company's advanced technologies in the country's agricultural sector can increase productivity by modernizing existing drip irrigation systems and creating additional capacities for storing fruits and vegetables.

Following the meeting, the parties determined the procedure for further actions and agreed to join efforts to accelerate the course of the negotiation processes, read the message.
