Cost of services increases by 2.4% in Baku

The total cost of services rendered to the population of Baku increased by 2.4 percent and amounted to over 4 billion manat ($2.3 billion) from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the Baku City Statistics Department.

Legal entities rendered the services in the amount of 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion), which amounted to 72.2 percent of the total cost of services.

The turnover of public catering facilities increased by 6.9 percent and amounted to 755.6 million manat ($444.5 million) from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018. Some 46.1 percent of the turnover accounted for the enterprises with the status of a legal entity, 53.9 percent - individual entrepreneurs in this sphere.

The turnover of enterprises with the status of legal entity for the year increased by two percent and amounted to 350.1 million manat ($205.9 million).
