The projects worth 60 trillion rials (about $1.4 billion) will be implemented in Mohr county of Iran's southern Fars province in the second half of this Iranian year (began on March 21, 2019), governor of Mohr county of the province Mohammad Mousavi said.
“The ethanol production plant and the plant producing gasoline corresponding to Euro 4 standard are among these projects,” Mousavi added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
"Five plants will be put into operation during the reporting period," the governor added. “These plants will produce household goods and process dates.”
Mousavi said that several greenhouses and about 10 schools will be put into operation.
The foundation of the ethanol production plant was laid in Mohr county in 2015 and $900 million was spent on this project to date.
In 2016, one trillion rials (about $30.7 million) was allocated for the construction of the gasoline production plant on the Mohr county, and the project is currently underway.
