Iranian Zagros Airlines to start flying to Uzbekistan

The Civil Aviation Agency under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport issued permission to the Iranian Zagros Airlines to fly to Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the agency’s press service.

The Civil Aviation Agency issued permission to operate flights on Nov. 11, on the basis of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Iran and Uzbekistan and on behalf of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport.

The airline will operate direct flights on the Tehran-Tashkent-Tehran route.

Zagros Airlines is an Iranian carrier specializing in delivering passengers within the country and abroad from the airport of Abadan. It has been working since 2005. The company's fleet now exceeds 30 liners and is considered one of the largest in the region.

It mainly operates Airbus and McDonnell Douglas aircraft in the layout from 170 to 180 seats, as well as Embraer. It operates international flights to Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Kuwait and Bahrain.
