The Azerbaijani manufacturer of meat and dairy products, SAB company, is working on a new brand of halal (food prepared according to Islamic law, free from pork products, alcohol and certain other ingredients) sausages, a source in the company told Trend.
“The sausage products will be manufactured at SAB facility, under the trademark of a Russian company and supplied to Russia,” the source noted. “In the near future we plan to start joint manufacturing of sausage products.”
The source added that the joint product will be manufactured under the brand name of a well-known Russian company and sold in Russia.
The company produces 60 types of meat and 50 types of dairy products under the SAB brand name.
The company’s production facilities are located in Azerbaijan’s Khirdalan city.
