SAB, an Azerbaijani producer of dairy products and sausages, plans to introduce a new type of yogurt into production, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, the company will begin developing the new product in January 2020.
"We plan to develop a new dairy product during the first two months of 2020, and introduce them in production in March-April 2020. The company's main focus is on sausages; however, we also intend to expand the production line of dairy products in order to expand the total production volume," the source said.
The source also noted that before the end of 2019, the company will launch two new types of deli sausages on the domestic market.
"Within 10 months of 2019, the company developed five new types of sausages. The daily production volumes of new sausage varieties are planned to be increased to 500 kilograms. Retail prices for new types of sausages are expected to range from 20 to 28 manat per kilogram," the source said.
Currently, the company produces 60 types of meat products and 50 types of dairy products under the SAB brand.
The company’s production units are located in Khirdalan city.
