The China Seed Association will help establish the process of growing, breeding and packing seeds in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the press service of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Innovation Development.
It is planned to produce cotton seeds, cereals and oilseeds.
Sharof Razhabbaev, Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Minister of Innovation Development received a delegation of the China Seed Association at Chinese Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The association is a member of the International Seed Federation and the Asia and Pacific Seed Association.
Razhabbaev discussed cooperation in the production of seeds of industrial crops, as well as agricultural technologies with the Vice President of the China Seed association, Hu Baomin.
The Ministry of Innovative Development reported that they had considered the organization of production, which would be engaged in the cultivation, selection and packaging of cotton seeds, grains and oilseeds.
