Turkmenistan’s company Diýar guşy is preparing to launch a large broiler chicken production complex in the Kaakhkinsky district of the Akhal region in early 2020, Trend reports citing Business-Turkmenistan news agency.
Acting on the basis of the import-substituting production program, the company, after fully supporting the local market, set out to export products to neighboring countries, read the message.
The complex, with a capacity of 25 million chickens per year, includes an incubator, sixteen breeding farms and four chicken farms, which are equipped with equipment from manufacturers in Belgium and Turkey.
Until recently, broiler chickens were purchased mainly from Turkey.
In September 2019, a complex designed to produce 14 million chickens per year began to operate on the territory of the Bereket district of Turkmenistan’s Balkan region. The incubator was built by local Nurly meýdan company.
The poultry farm is equipped with Belgian Petersime and Roxell equipment. The manufacturer also aims to sell products for export; Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China have already placed orders for the farm's products.
