Kazakhstan's foreign trade nearly reaches $80B

Value of investments in Kazakhstan’s fixed capital amounted to 10.8 trillion tenge ($28.2 billion) during 11 months of 2019, which is 8.3 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

In turn, volume of cargo turnover during the reporting period of last year was 555 billion ton-kilometers, which is 2.3 percent more compared to the same period of last year.

Furthermore, the passenger turnover amounted to 269.7 billion passenger-kilometers, which also is 4.9 percent more that during the same period of last year.

Value of retail turnover amounted to 9.9 trillion tenge ($25.9 billion), which is 5.6 percent more than during the same period of last year.

In turn, value of wholesale trade during 11 months of 2019 equaled 22.4 trillion tenge ($58.4 billion), which is 8.1 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $79 billion from January through October, which is 1.3 percent. This is including export worth $47.7 billion (decrease of five percent) and import worth $31.3 billion (increase of 12.6 percent).
