Somw 171 important projects of Iran's Energy Ministry are being implemented in the country's Gilan province, Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian told reporters during his visit to the province on Dec. 26, Trend reports referring to the ministry's website.
The minister noted that 112 trillion rials (roughly $2.6 billion) of investments have been directed to these projects
Ardakanian added that 4.6 trillion rials (roughly $109 million) have been invested in the projects that kicked off on the day of his visit and most of these projects will be fully implemented until the end of term of Iran's current government (August 2021).
A decision was made to implement 227 power and water projects worth 330 trillion rials ($7.8 billion) in 31 provinces in the second half of the year, the minister said previously.
To date, several water and power projects have been commissioned and some others are being implemented.
