Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district, has increased the output of cheese products, a source in the company told Trend.
Production volumes of Chanakh cheese have increased, according to the source.
“Due to this, the total volumes of cheese production increased by 20-25 percent compared to last year,” the source noted. “Since the beginning of this year, the company has produced over 100 tons of cheese. Next year it is planned to increase cheese production by 1.5-2 times. In the future, it is planned to diversify the varieties of cheese. Every day the company produces 700 tons of dairy products, and more than 150 tons of this volume account for cheese.”
The company’s dairy products are fully designed for sale in the domestic market and aren’t intended for export.
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
