Fifteen projects in industry, mine and trade sectors have been commissioned in Iran’s Ardabil province, Chairman of the Ardabil Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Ramin Sadeghi said, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.
Sadeghi noted that with the opening of one unit of Artawheel Tire Industrial Complex, operating under the brand Goldstone Tires (an Iranian tire manufacturer for automobiles, commercial trucks, light trucks, SUVs, race cars, airplanes, and heavy earth-mover machinery), 400 people were employed.
The chairman added that besides, Mobtakeran company employs 500 people, textile factory – 250 people, and Ashja Car Battery Store - 110 people.
Sadeghi said that licenses for creation of 1,500 projects were received in Ardabil province, noting that construction work has already begun regarding 411 of them.
The chairman added that there are 1,145 industrial facilities in Ardabil province, and about 66 percent of them are currently operational.
“In total, there are 23,000 people working in the industrial sector in Ardabil province,” Sadeghi said.
The chairman noted that 34 percent of the region’s industrial facilities, or 158 percent, aren’t operating, adding that certain work has been done for these businesses to start operating.
Since the beginning of this Iranian year (March 21, 2019), the problems of 45 industrial facilities have been solved, Sadeghi added.
