During eight months (March 21-Nov. 21) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), the number of licenses issued to establish businesses in Iran increased by 15.8 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
As many as 17,054 licenses were issued in the mentioned period. In the same period last year, 14,728 licenses were issued.
It is expected that 394,921 people will be employed through the establishment of these facilities. Compared to the same period last year (345,822 people), this represents a 14.2 percent increase.
According to the report, 3,960 industrial enterprises were put into operation in eight months. Compared to the same period last year (3,811), this is a 3.9 percent increase.
According to the report, 4,942 commercial ID cards were issued in the foreign trade sector in the mentioned period. Compared to the same period last year (4,777 cards), this shows a 3.5 percent increase.
Issuing the e-commerce licenses increased by 60.9 percent, the report says. During the reporting period, 100,010 licenses were issued, compared to 62,169 licenses issued in the same period last year.
