Iranian Kimya Resin Arak Company’s export value revealed

Kimya Resin Arak Company, based in Arak city of Iran’s Markazi province, exported chemicals worth $400,000 this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), said Mohammad Reza Hajipour, chairman of the Markazi Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, Trend reports via IRNA.

Hajipour added that antifreeze substances, methyl acetate, monoethylene glycol, carbon ethylene glycol, as well as light and heavy hydrocarbons were exported.

The chairman said that the company’s chemical products were exported to Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Malaysia, Syria, Turkey, the UAE and India.

Hajipour noted that the company exported chemical products worth $800,000 last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019).

“Methanol, acetic acid, butanol and other raw materials are mainly supplied by the Shazand Petrochemical Company and the rest - by other Iranian petrochemical companies,” the chairman said.

Hajipour added that the Kimya Resin Arak Company has been operating in Shahid Babaei Industrial Zone since 2000 and started exports in 2004.

Iran exported 1.3 million tons of products worth $760 million from the Markazi province in nine months (March 21-Dec. 21) of this Iranian year. Exports of goods increased by 2 percent in value compared to the same period last year and by 24 percent in weight.
