Amount of investments in industrial parks of Iran's Alborz province up

The amount of investments made in industrial enterprises of Iran's Alborz province has increased by 73 percent in the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year, Executive Director of Alborz Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization Mohammad Amin Farshi said, Trend reports with reference to the organization's website.

The director noted that 83 industrial projects have been implemented in the current Iranian year with 10 trillion rials (roughly $238 million) of investments.

Some 1,700 people have been provided with jobs thanks to the projects' implementation, he added.

Mohammad Amin Farshi stressed that 99 industrial and manufacturing enterprises that have suspended their operations in Alborz province will resume their work by the end of the current Iranian year (by March 21, 2020), which will secure jobs for 9,000 people.

In the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), 77 manufacturing enterprises resumed their operations and provided 850 people with jobs, the director added.

Over 3,500 enterprises operate in industrial parks of Iran's Alborz province.
