The three largest international hotel brands InterContinental, Sheraton and Radisson are developing new hotel complexes in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent, in Tashkent City, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.

German Hyper Partners GmbH company is building one of the largest shopping malls in Central Asia and three high-rise buildings that will house offices, premium residential apartments and the five-star Sheraton Hotel in Tashkent.

In addition, it is planned to commission the Holiday Inn hotel next year. This brand is owned by InterContinental Group.

Moreover, in 2021, two high-rise buildings of the Park Inn by Radisson hotel, a business center, a residential complex and a shopping center will be built on the territory of Tashkent City.

In total, six hotels are planned to be built in Tashkent City, one of which is Hilton, which was already opened in December last year.

Sheraton Hotel was built in Tashkent in 1998. In 2009, the state put up for sale 100 percent of the shares of the hotel complex, which were owned by the Tashkent administration. In 2015, Roison became the sole founder of this hotel. Then it received a new name - City Palace.
