By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Construction of a plant for manufacturing of high voltage electrical equipment is being considered in Kazakhstan’s Nur-Sultan city, Trend reports with reference to the city’s akimat (administrative office).

The project discussion took place during the visit of city’s Head Altay Kulginov to South Korea, where he held negotiations with the leadership of the Hyosung Heavy Industries company.

The goods manufactured at the plant are to be sold both in Kazakhstan and to be exported to other countries.

“Compact gas distribution solutions developed and modernized using the latest technology will be installed in large cities and will solve the problem of fast-growing cities in providing safe and stable electricity in confined spaces,” the report said.

The project’s implementation is to create over 200 new work places.

Hyosung Heavy Industries is engaged in various areas of construction, including the areas of housing, redevelopment and reconstruction, business and commercial facilities, civil engineering and environment.

Hyosung Heavy Industries exports its products to many corners of the world, including North America, the Middle East, and Europe.
