Iran discloses production volume at Mouteh Gold Complex

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 14

Some 254 kilograms of pure gold were produced during nine months of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019) at Mouteh Gold Complex in Iran’s Isfahan province, Head of the complex Alireza Talari said.

“Gold production increased by 112.4 percent compared to the planned volume (226 kg),” head of the complex added, Trend reports referring to Iran’s Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO).

Talari added that 330 kilograms of gold are expected to be produced by the end of the year (March 21, 2020).

The Mouteh Gold Complex is located in Mouteh village in Maymeh county of Isfahan province. Up to 300 tons of pure gold may be produced in the complex a year.
