Prices of goods imported by Kazakhstan increase

Prices of goods exported by Kazakhstan decreased by 2.4 percent over 11 months of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

The decrease of export prices was observed on ferroalloys by 26.8 percent, zinc ores by 15.7 percent, chrome ores by 15.1 percent, zinc by 4.2 percent, copper by 2.6 percent and oil by 0.8 percent.

Decrease of export prices was observed on cotton by 7.1 percent, whereas prices increase was observed on wheat by 26.4 percent, barley by 4.2 percent, wool by 1.7 percent.

Increase of export prices was also observed on iron ores by 18.3 percent, coal by 17.1 percent, lead by 16.9 percent, ferrous metals products by 7.8 percent, ferrous metals rolling by 3.2 percent.

Increase of prices of goods imported by Kazakhstan stood at 6.1 percent over 11 months of 2019.

The increase was observed on vegetables by 37.4 percent, rice by 10.8 percent, confectionery by 15.4 percent, milk products by 8.3 percent, noodles by 7.7 percent, coffee by 6.6 percent, poultry meat by 5.2 percent, fish by 5.1 percent.

Footwear prices increased in price by 11.2 percent, pharmaceuticals by 10 percent, construction materials by 7.8 percent, paper by 7.7 percent.

Import prices of sugar decreased by 7.7 percent, while of fruit and nuts - by 3.9 percent.
