Turkey’s trade with Syria dropped by $35.6 million in November 2019 compared to the same month of 2018, amounting to $91.2 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 23.
In this month, Turkey’s export to Syria amounted to $81.4 million, and import from Syria to $9.8 million.
Trade between Turkey and Syria dropped by $76.1 million from January through November 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, exceeding $1.2 billion.
During this period, Turkey’s export to Syria amounted to $1.1 billion, and import from Syria to $83 million.
Turkey’s foreign trade in November 2019 amounted to $33.2 billion.
In November 2019, export of Turkey increased by 0.1 percent compared to November 2019, amounting to 15.5 billion.
Import to Turkey increased by 9.7 percent in November 2019 compared to the same month of 2018, reaching $17.7 billion.
