Industrial enterprises resume operations in Iran's Khuzestan province

Operations of 25 industrial enterprises in Iran's Khuzestan province have been resumed in the current Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Executive Director of Khuzestan Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Akhlag Mohammadian said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The regional ISIPO director noted that 700 people were provided with jobs upon the enterprises' restoration.
The enterprises had suspended operations due to issues related to raw material supplies and liquidity, Mohammadian said.
Loans have been allocated to the enterprises with the support of the Iranian Government, the director said adding that currently, more than 60 industrial enterprises are exporting their goods to various countries.
There are 73 industrial parks in Khuzestan province and for the time being, only 51 parks are operational, while the rest 22 are under construction.
