Azerbaijan’s Orelay company producing confectionery products plans to expand the range of confectionery products, as well as supply the products abroad this year, a source in the company told Trend.

“The company will increase the range of chocolates, as well as caramel,” the source said.

"In parallel, we plan to greatly increase the production of raisins as there is great demand both within the country and abroad,” the source said. “We plan to produce up to 100-120 tons of raisins annually. On average, prices for raisins range from 3 manat ($1.7) to 11 manat ($6.4) per kilogram. We have orders from abroad for these products. We plan to begin to export the products to the Arab countries in the coming months."

“The company plans to supply caramel, chocolates to Iraq and Georgia,” the source said. "Small batches were supplied to Georgia last year. This year we plan to increase the supply of chocolate products to the neighboring country. Currently, the company produces over 12 types of confectionery.”

The products manufactured by Orelay have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The German, Turkish and Austrian equipment is used in the company located in Agdash district.
