BAKU, Azerbaijan, Apr. 7

By Ilkin Seyfaddini – Trend:

The Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan announced the reception of proposals from entrepreneurs, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the committee.

From now on, entrepreneurs may ask to reduce duties on materials and raw materials they need.

Agencies and ministries in the country are now developing proposals to reduce the cost of raw materials, accessories and components used by small businesses.

It is planned to reduce the cost, among other things, by changing customs duty rates and simplifying non-tariff regulation (certification and so on).

Proposals made by entrepreneurs are accepted at [email protected].

Earlier an announcement was made that excise taxes on alcohol, gasoline and gas in Uzbekistan will not increase until the end of 2020

Recently, against the backdrop of increased demand for face masks in Uzbekistan, masks were allowed to be produced and sold without a license.

Also, Uzbekistan will temporarily lift customs duties on importing a number of medicines and medical products

This is stated in the decree of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On additional measures to meet the needs of the population in medicine," signed on March 27.
