Azerbaijan’s Baku Textile Factory increased the production volumes of knitwear goods from January through March 2020, a source in the factory told Trend.

According to the source, the factory increased monthly output volumes of the products up to 55,000.

“Earlier, about 50,000 knitted goods had been produced monthly at the enterprise. The enterprise is also aimed at increasing the export potential. Presently we have knitwear export offers from Arabic countries. The exports can start in the 2nd half of this year,” the source said.

According to the source, now there is demand on exporting women’s knitwear clothing and some types of children’s outerwear from Arabic countries.

The source also noted that in the near future several units of knitted circular knitting machines will be purchased.

It's planned to purchase knitwear machines worth 100,000 – 110,000 euro from Germany. The equipment will be installed at the factory in autumn of 2020.
