Iran reveals product export via Mazandaran province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29

As many as 87,000 tons of products worth more than $14.7 million were exported via customs of Mazandaran province in northern Iran in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19, 2020), Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to the report, the products were exported through Noshahr, Amirabad, Amol, Sari and Fereidoonkenar customs.

The products mainly were exported to 13 countries, including Kazakhstan, Russia, Iraq, Turkmenistan, the UAE and others.

"The exported products were mainly dairy products, cement, paper, ice cream, various syrups, dates and etc.," report said.

According to the report, 271,000 tons of products worth more than $84 million were imported in one month through the customs of Mazandaran province. The products mainly have been imported from 13 countries, including Russia, UAE, Turkey, Germany, Kazakhstan and others.

The province's customs revenue exceeded 291 billion rials (about $ 6.9 million) in one month. This is an increase of 36 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
