The largest manufacturing enterprise in Azerbaijan, the Khirdalan brick factory, is plans to increase the volume of construction materials in the second half of 2020, the company told Trend.
According to the source, the company intends to increase the production of brick products.
“The enterprise produces 500 tons of brick products daily. It is planned to increase the production of this type of building materials by at least 15-20 percent by the end of 2020. It is also planned to increase the production of single and block bricks. The plant operates at full capacity, the production volumes are to meet the demand of the domestic market as well as fulfill orders coming from abroad,” the source added.
“The company exports its products to Georgia. Since the beginning of 2020, several export operations have been made to this market. In the second half of 2020, deliveries to Georgia are also expected. On average, orders to a neighboring country range from 300 to 500 tons of brick products,” the source noted.
The company produces more than 50 types of brick products.
At present, two workshops are operating at the enterprise. German technology has been introduced into the production process.
Khirdalan brick factory was built in 2005 and it is located 10 km away from Baku.
The company cooperates with institutions and production associations involved in the construction and installation industry in Germany, Greece, the Czech, Turkey and Russia.
