The Azerbaijani biggest producer of motor and industrial oil - Technol plant - increased the production volume by 15 percent over three months, a source in the plant told Trend.
“The daily production volumes at the plant reach 140 tons, and 50,000 tons of products are produced per year,” the source said. “The production capacity of the plant allows increasing the monthly volumes up to 35-40 percent. In this regard, the plant intends to gradually increase the production volumes.”
“The new types of modern equipment produced by foreign countries were installed at the plant,” the source said. “The capacity of the plant is planned to be greatly increased thanks to this equipment.”
The plant has great potential for storing industrial products in warehouses and barns, the source added.
Currently, the plant has 2,800 tons of finished products, 360 tons of raw materials, as well as about 1,000 tons of additional products in its warehouses.
The plant produces synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral motor oil, as well as oil designed for ATF 2 D, ATF 3 D, ATF 4 automatic transmission fluid.
Today, Technol is the first and biggest plant in the South Caucasus producing various engine and industrial oil.
The plant is located in Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit city. Over 100 people work at the plant.
