The index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased and exceeded 690,000 units in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19), Trend reports citing Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO).
According to report, the total value of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), Iran Fara Bourse Exchange (IFB), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) reached 35.2 quadrillion rials (about $838 billion) in the first month.
“However, this represents an increase of 34.47 percent compared to the last month of last Iranian year (February 20-March 19, 2020),” report said.

According to report, the overall index (exchange value) on the Tehran Stock Exchange increased by 34.5 percent in the first month compared to the preceding month.
“The overall index (exchange value) on the Iran Fara Bourse Exchange (IFB) increased by 30.2 percent in the first month compared to the preceding month and reached 8,500 units,” report said
