The Azerbaijani METAK company, producing agricultural products, plans start exports to Russia and Kazakhstan in the near future, a source in the company told Trend.
"The company exported the products to Belarus and Uzbekistan in 2019, but we plan to export the products to many more countries." the source said.
"The WorldFood Moscow 2019 Food and Drinks Exhibition was held on September 24, 2019,” the source said. “The products of 33 domestic companies were showcased at ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ single stand through the support of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). METAK company also participated in the exhibition.”
“Our company has been contributing to the development of gardening in Azerbaijan under the 'LANGU' brand during 13 years,” the source added. “Besides fruits, alveoli (cardboard box) produced by METAK were also demonstrated at the exhibition. METAK is the first and only producer of alveoli in the region."
METAK was established in 1997. The company owns the enterprises in Balakhani settlement, Neftchala district and Sumgayit city. The main products which are manufactured at the company's factories are steel and plastic pipes, plastic boxes and containers, products for intensive gardening and agriculture.
The company also produces and exports agricultural products, namely, apples, pears, peaches, apricots and other fruits.
