Azerbaijan has manufactured industrial products worth 13 billion manat ($7.6 billion) from January through April 2020, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee’s data.
According to the committee, the volume of industrial production in the country has increased by 3 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Output volume of industrial production in Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector made up almost 3.9 billion manat ($2.2 billion).
Production in the non-oil sector amounted to 29.9 percent of the total output, which is 16.8 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
Investments in the non-oil sector amounted to over 2 billion manat ($1.2 billion), which is 12.8 percent less than during the same period of 2019.
Investments in the non-oil industry decreased by 26.3 percent compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 289.7 million manat ($170.4 million).
