Turkey's export of electrical goods to France shrinks

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19

The export of electrical goods from Turkey to France decreased by 29.35 percent from January through April 2020 and reached $187.4 million compared to the same period of 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.

The export of electrical goods from Turkey to France also decreased by 66.09 percent in April 2020 and amounted to $26.2 million compared to April 2019.

The export of electrical goods from Turkey to the world markets decreased by 13.2 percent from January through April 2020 and reached $3.1 billion compared to the same period of last year, which is 6.1 percent of the country's total export volume from January through April 2020.

Turkey exported electrical goods worth $62 million to the world markets in April 2020, which is 33.8 percent less than in April 2019.

The export of electrical goods from Turkey in April 2020 amounted to 6.9 percent of the country's total export volume.

Turkey exported electrical products worth $10.8 billion over the past 12 months (from April 2019 through April 2020).
