Turkmenistan, Russia and Turkey have agreed to establish scientific cooperation in the industrial sector, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.

An online scientific conference was held in the Institute of chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan with representatives of research institutes of the Kazan National Research Technological University of Russia’s Tatarstan, as well as with scientists-specialists of Turkey’s Maltas Maden Kimya Makina Nakliye Insaat Taahhut Akaryakit Sanayi ve Ticaret LTD STI company.

From Turkmen side the conference was attended by specialists from the Ministry of industry and construction.

The parties considered the possibility of joint research in order to increase the production of basic types of building materials and expand the range of products manufactured by the Ministry of industry and construction production.

The fact that industrial sector is one of the priority sectors of Turkmenistan’s economy was noted. The high rate of development of the construction materials industry in the country was emphasized. Thus, the rational use of local raw materials allows Turkmenistan to produce various types of building materials that are in demand both in the country and beyond.

The production of construction materials is developing in Turkmenistan. This process is facilitated by the implementation of import substitution programs in the country and the increase in export-oriented products, as well as attracting significant investment in the industry.
