Demand for real estate up in Georgia's Tbilisi

After a decline caused by the quarantine, demand for real estate began to grow in Georgia's Tbilisi in May, Trend reports with reference to SS.ge, the largest portal of Georgia related to apartments, houses, lands and commercial real estate.

As reported, in the capital, the demand for real estate increased by 69 percent in May 2020 compared to April, while the supply increased by 162 percent.

If in April, 1,143 properties for sale were posted on the Internet, in May the number increased to 2,997. As many as 42 114 people expressed interest in buying apartments in April, and 71,104 in May.

The data shows that demand for rental properties increased by 63 percent, and supply- by 73 percent.

In April, 3,722 rental property ads were posted on the websites, while in May – 6,508.

The demand for apartments for daily rent grew by 4 percent, while the offer increased by 35 percent.
