The price of apartments in Iran’s Tehran city rose by 9.4 percent in the second month of the current Iranian year (April 20 - May 20, 2020), compared to the first month (March 20 - April 19, 2020), Trend reports citing the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran.
According to the report, the average price of an apartment in 22 districts of Tehran was 170 million rials (about $4.040) per square meter in the second month.
“However, in the first month, the value of 1 square meter of apartment was 155 million rials (about $3,700),” report said.
“In the second month, 9,990 buying and selling were registered. This figure was 1,090 in the first month,” the report said.
According to the report, the most expensive apartment for per square meter was registered in the first district of Tehran. The buying and selling was 341 million rials (about $8,100) for per square meter in this district in the second month. However, in the first month, the buying and selling was 319 million rials (about $7,600) for per square meter of apartment in this district.
“The lowest price was registered in the 18th district of Tehran. In the second month, the price of 1 square meter of apartment in this district was 77 million rials (about $1,800). However, in the first month, the price of 1 square meter of apartment in this district was 71 million rials (about $1.690),” report said.
