Representatives of Uzbek Xalq Banki held a video conference with representatives of the Eximbank of Malaysia, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo News Agency.
The sides discussed the issues of implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the Malaysian side informed about its readiness to develop cooperation with Xalq Banki and other commercial banks of Uzbekistan in financing investment and export-oriented projects with participation of Malaysian companies.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to sign documents between the Malaysian Eximbank and Xalq Banki, as well as to organize a visit of Malaysian representatives to Uzbekistan as the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
The main functions of the Eximbank itself are to provide credit lines to finance and support exports and imports of goods and services, as well as promising investment projects.
In addition, the bank provides services in insurance of export credits, export financing and foreign investments.
