Cement was exported to the United Arab Emirates through the Shahid Kalantari port of Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeastern Iran), Behrouz Aghaei, director general of Ports and Maritime Department in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Trend reports referring to the department’s website.
According to, Aghaei, the cement is the first shipment exported from Shahid Kalantari port to Dubai in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020).
“The weight of cement exported through the Shahid Kalantari port was 900 tons,” the official said.
About 43,800 tons of products were exported through the Chabahar port (Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari) in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province. In addition, Iran imported 310,000 tons of products through the port. As many as 11,000 tons of products were transited and 76,600 tons of products were moved through this port.
In total, 45,500 tons of cargo was loaded and 397,000 tons were unloaded at the port.
